ROCHESTER, N.Y. – RIT seniors Sydney Neff and Grace Phelan were recently named Academic All-District Women's Volleyball honorees by College Sports Communicators (CSC).
Neff landed her second-straight recognition, compiling a 3.86 grade point average while majoring in industrial design. Phelan is a first-time honoree with a 3.85 GPA majoring in biomedical science.
CSC Academic All-District selections are nominated based on having a minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA while achieving at least sophomore academic standing, along with high achievement on the court.
RIT finished the season with an 11-22 record, including a 3-5 conference mark to earn the sixth seed for the Liberty League Tournament, falling 3-2 at third-seeded Clarkson in the quarterfinals.
