Neff named Women's Volleyball 2nd-Team All-Liberty League

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – RIT senior setter Sydney Neff was named to the All-Liberty League Second Team, announced Tuesday. 

  • Neff finished the regular season third in the Liberty League with 8.29 assists per set, ninth with 0.46 service aces per set and 12th with 2.75 digs per set.
  • Neff landed her third-straight all-conference award after being named first-team the past two seasons as well as the Liberty League Rookie of the Year in 2021.
  • Neff was credited with a season-high 53 assists to go along with nine digs, while directing the attack to a season-high 67 kills in the team's Liberty League Tournament Quarterfinal loss to Clarkson (Nov. 7).
  • She totaled a four-set season-high 45 assists along with 14 digs and five service aces in the victory over Nazareth (Oct. 7).
  • Neff logged a three-set season-high 31 assists along with four service aces in a sweep of Oneonta (Oct. 27).
  • Neff added 42 assist and a season-high 19 digs in a four-set win at Union (Oct. 21). 

RIT finished the season with a 11-22 record, including a 3-5 conference mark to earn the sixth seed for the Liberty League Tournament, falling 3-2 at third-seeded Clarkson in the quarterfinals.
