RIT Cheerleading places first at Spirit Against Cancer competition
ERIE, PA - The RIT Cheerleading team placed first in the Small Coed Advance Division at the Spirit Against Cancer competition hosted by Penn State Behrend, Saturday.
RIT finished with 80.5 out of a possible 90 points. The Tigers had a strong start to their routine, but had some mistakes in their stunts and pyramid that led to deductions. The team received perfect scores in their jumps and collegiate image, and high scores in their standing and running tumbling.
The Tigers return to action on Saturday (March 26) at Gannon University.
