Three Tigers land CSC Academic All-District accolades

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – RIT senior thrower Josh Auler, graduate student thrower Andrew Bernacki and graduate student runner Noah Flanders were named 2024-25 College Sports Communicators Men's Cross Country/Track & Field Academic All-District.
 
Auler finished 16th in the hammer throw (50.44m) at the AARTFC Outdoor Track & Field Championships and placed sixth at the Liberty League Outdoor Track & Field Championships. A Cybersecurity major, Auler was a Liberty League All-Academic selection.
 
Bernacki finished ninth in the javelin at the AARTFC Outdoor Track & Field Championships with a throw of 54.74 meters. He placed this in the javelin at the Liberty League Outdoor Track & Field Championships with a throw of 58.99 meters. A mechanical engineering major, Bernacki was a Liberty League All-Academic selection.
 
Flanders finished fourth in the 800 meters with a time of 1:54.19 at the Liberty League Outdoor Track & Field Championships and was tenth at the AARTFC Outdoor Track & Field Championships with a time of 1:54.18. A game design and development major, Flanders was a Liberty League All-Academic selection.
 
The 2025 Academic All-District® Men's Track & Field teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the track, in the field, and in the classroom.
