Men’s Track & Field opens season at Nazareth
ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Junior distance runner Evan Owens placed first in the 3000 Meter run to lead the RIT men's track & field team at the Nazareth Alumni Opener, Friday.
Owens crossed the finish line with a time of 9:06.61 as first-year Benicio Benzan took fourth (9:27.96) and sophomore Samuel Adamson finishing sixth (9:27.99).
Sophomore Jack DeFeo won the 500 Meters with a facility record time of 1:05.06. The previous record was set by RIT's Ryan Senf (1:05.97) on Dec. 8, 2023.
