Men’s Soccer falls 1-0 at St. Lawrence

CANTON, N.Y. – The RIT men's soccer team lost 1-0 at St. Lawrence in Liberty League action, Saturday.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Senior forward Joshua Price had his shot from the top of the box in the fourth minute miss high and right.
  • Sophomore midfielder Tate Pottle fired two of the Tigers' three shots on net in a scoreless first half.
  • Price had a shot on net in the 54th minute that St. Lawrence keeper, Ben Woelfinger saved.
  • St. Lawrence's Sam Pijpers scored in the 61st minute off an assist from Max Mogul to give the Saints the lead.
  • Sophomore defender Mauricio Gonzalez' header off a corner in the 72nd minute just missed the post.

 
GAME NOTES

  • RIT had five shots on target
  • Junior goalie Jason Trapp made two saves in net for RIT.
  • RIT fired five corner kicks to two for the Saints.
