RIT Athletics Preview: Nov. 11 – Nov. 17
WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL
The Tigers visit Union on Tuesday in the Liberty League Championship first-round. RIT enters the tournament as the fifth seed after completing the regular season with an overall record of 18-13 and a 4-4 conference record.
In their regular season meeting, Union defeated the Tigers, 3-1 (25-20, 13-25, 25-21, 25-23).

MEN'S BASKETBALL
RIT opened the season splitting two home games over the weekend in the Harold J. Brodie Tournament. In their first game, the Tigers defeated Fitchburg State, 67-63, before falling to Utica, 73-67.
Senior guard Chase Dickens led RIT in both games, scoring 20 points in Friday's win and then posting a 21-point performance in Saturday's loss.
The team is back in action on Tuesday when they visit Rochester.

MEN'S HOCKEY
The Tigers split their weekend series at Bentley, falling 5-0 in Friday's contest before earning a 6-2 win on Saturday.
In Saturday's win, sophomore forward Matthew Wilde scored twice and added a pair of assists while sophomore forward Tyler Fukakusa recorded a career-high four assists.
RIT returns home this weekend when they host a series against Army.

WOMEN'S HOCKEY
After being off last week, RIT is back in action this weekend with a pair of games against Thruway rivals, Syracuse. The Orange host RIT in Friday's game before the Tigers host Syracuse on Saturday.

RIT will compete in the NCAA Division III Niagara Region Championships on Saturday. This year's races will take place at Lake Erie State Park in Fredonia.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
In their season-opener on Friday, RIT fell to Geneseo at home, 83-68.
First year guard Caroline Henderson led the Tigers with 18 points as first year forward Ben Kayser-Cochran added 17 points and seven rebounds.
RIT travels for a pair of games this weekend at the St. Mary's (Md.) Jamie L. Roberts Memorial Tournament, taking on the hosts on Friday before taking on Catholic on Saturday.

WRESTLING
The Tigers put together a strong showing at the 2024 Bob Del Rosa Ohio Open on Sunday.
RIT sophomore Jacob Deysher (125 lb.) and first year Lawrence Liss (133 lb.) each placed third in the Freshman/Sophomore Division.
First year Quincy Bonville went 3-1 to place fifth at 197 lb. in the Freshman/Sophomore division, while first year Max Watson (157 lb.) and sophomore Josh Lanka (285 lb.) each placed sixth in the Freshman/Sophomore Division.
The Tigers return to action on Saturday at Johnson & Wales in Providence, R.I. at 11:00 a.m.
