Women’s Track & Field has strong showing at Thursday Night Meet

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Junior sprinter Sadie Schreiner lowered her own program record in 200m to lead the RIT women's track & field team at their Thursday Night Meet.
Schriener won the 200m with a time of 24.46, eclipsing her previous time by .04 seconds. The junior also won the 400m, crossing the finish line in 56.20 seconds.
In the Mile, junior Abigail Thomes took first place with a time of 5:37.53.
Senior Allison Regnante placed second in both the 60m Hurdles (9.32) and the triple jump (10.78m). Both results are regional qualifying marks.
Senior thrower Emily DiMarco let the Tigers in the field events by taking first place in the shot put with a regional qualifying distance of 12.83m.
