RIT Athletics Preview: Nov. 18 – Nov. 24
MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY
RIT junior Derick Koen earned an at-large bid to Saturday's NCAA Division III National Championship after placing 14th at the Niagara Regional race.
Koen will make his second consecutive appearance at the National Championship after receiving an at-large bid in 2023.
This year's race will take place at the LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course at the Wabash Valley Family Sports Center in Terre Haute, Ind.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
The Tigers split their two games over the weekend at the St. Mary's (Md.) Jamie L. Roberts Memorial Tournament. RIT defeated the hosts on Friday, 61-54, before falling to No. 14-ranked Catholic, 84-43, on Saturday.
In the win against St. Mary's, sophomore guard Maddy Ramsgard led the Tigers with a career-best 29 points while also grabbing seven rebounds, making two steals, and blocking one shot.
The team is back in action Thursday and Saturday when they host the Mark's Pizzeria Crosstown Shootout.

MEN'S BASKETBALL
In their lone game last week, RIT fell at Rochester, 85-68, on Tuesday.
Fifth year forward Kenny Wilburn led the Tigers with 15 points and 10 rebounds as sophomore guard Luke Granto added 10 points.
RIT plays Thursday and Saturday in the Mark's Pizzeria Crosstown Shootout at Rochester.

MEN'S HOCKEY
The Tigers lost to Army twice over the weekend by scores of 5-1 and 4-2.
In Saturday's loss, sophomore forward Tyler Fukakusa scored once while adding an assist for RIT. First year goalkeeper Jakub Krbecek made 30 saves.
RIT visits Sacred Heart this coming weekend for a pair games.

WOMEN'S HOCKEY
The Tigers lost twice to Syracuse over the weekend. On Friday RIT lost at Syracuse, 4-2 before falling 1-0 at home against the Orange.
In the home loss, the Tigers out shot Syracuse 33-13.
The team is on the road this week at Mecyhurst for a pair of games.

WRESTLING
RIT split a pair of matches on Saturday. After losing to Johson & Wales (RI), 36-7, the Tigers earned a 27-14 win over Southern Maine.
The team is back in action Saturday when they travel to Oneonta to compete in the New York State Intercollegiate Open.
