ROCHESTER, N.Y. - RIT junior Josh Harkless was named the SUNYAC Wrestler of the Week while first year Jack Lamson earned SUNYAC Rookie of the Week accolades announced by the league, Monday.
Harkless posted a 2-0 record at the Tiger Duals, Saturday. Harkless, ranked No. 3 at 285 lb., pinned Walter Thomas 35 seconds into his match to seal the Tigers 39-8 victory over New Jersey City and pinned John Carroll's Thomas Lunt 49 seconds into their match.
Lamson recorded a 2-0 record at the Tiger Duals, Saturday. Lamson defeated Diego Viera with an 18-2 technical fall at 174 lb. in the Tigers 39-8 win over New Jersey City and was a 14-6 winner over John Carroll's Frank Gallo at 165 lb. in the final match of the day.
