Men’s Soccer ties Ithaca, 1-1
ROCHESTER, N.Y. – RIT sophomore midfielder Tate Pottle scored a goal in the Tigers 1-1 tie against Ithaca, Tuesday. HOW IT HAPPENED
- Colin Adams scored in the 29th minute to give Ithaca the lead.
- Pottle scored his third goal of the season in 62nd minute to tie the score. Senior Joe Moon flicked a pass into the Ithaca penalty area that Pottle gathered and fired into the corner.
- Junior goalie Jason Trapp made a diving save on a shot from Ithaca's Jared Krasnove in the 75th minute to preserve the tie.
- Junior John Lucas had two shots on net late in regulation. He had a shot from 15 yards out in the 84th minute and another from 10 yards in the 87th minute saved by Ithaca keeper, Johannes Berghahn.
