Women's Volleyball wraps up regular season with 3-1 setback at Brockport
BROCKPORT, N.Y. – The RIT Women's Volleyball team lost, 3-1 (13-25, 25-22, 25-21, 25-22), at Brockport in its final regular-season match, Saturday.
MATCH NOTES
- Senior outside hitter Catherine Vento logged a match-high 15 kills on 22 swings and only made three errors for a .545 attack percentage. She was also credited with a career-high 10 total blocks (nine assisted).
- Graduate student libero Hailey Blixt totaled a team-high 21 digs for her eighth match with at least 20 digs this season and also served three aces.
- Graduate student setter Sydney Neff added 29 assists and five digs.
- Sophomore outside hitter Macie Jolliffe compiled 10 kills and 17 digs for her second double-double in three matches.
WHAT'S NEXT
Fifth-seeded RIT travels to fourth-seeded Union this Tuesday (Nov. 12) for the opening round of the Liberty League Tournament. The match is slated for a 6:00 p.m. start.
