OBERLIN, Ohio – The RIT women's cross country team finished fifth out of 25 teams at the Oberlin Inter-Regional Rumble, Saturday. The Tigers were led by junior Kathryn Arbegast, who cracked the top five individually in a race that featured over 213 runners.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Arbegast placed 5th overall with a time of 22:05.70 as fellow junior Therese Georgia finished 26th in 23:17.00.
- First-year Juliana Cavanaugh finished third for RIT, crossing the finish line in 38th with a time of 23:45.30.
- Junior Rachael Ladd placed 45th in 23:55.70, with senior Abigail Thomas rounding out the scoring five in 61st place with a time of 24:21.50.
- RIT scored 160 points, placing fifth behind Case Western (76), John Carroll (90), Centre (129), and Washington & Jefferson (139).
