ROCHESTER, N.Y. – RIT junior outfielder Maddy Cook and sophomore pitcher Jessica Majot were voted Second-Team All-Liberty League, announced Tuesday.
Cook finished sixth in the Liberty League with 27 RBI and 13th with 39 hits while leading RIT with three homeruns and six doubles. She also ranked 13th in the league with a .348 batting average, ninth with 58 total bases and 12th with a .875 OPS.
Majot finished the season with a 9-9 record for a career-high win total. She also ranked fourth in the Liberty League with 83 strikeouts, fourth with 119.2 innings pitched, tied for first with 15 complete games and tied for fourth with four shutouts. Majot finished the spring with a 2.40 earned run average while holding hitters to a .238 batting average.
RIT finished the season with a 13-23-1 record, including a 6-8 Liberty League mark to qualify for the conference tournament for the first time since 2017.
