Women's Soccer host Union in Liberty League quarterfinals

ROCHESTER, N.Y. - The RIT women's soccer team hosts Union in the Liberty League quarterfinals, Tuesday at 4 p.m.

HOW THEY GOT HERE

  • The No. 3-seeded Tigers completed the regular season at 8-3-6 overall and 5-3-1 in Liberty League play.
  • No. 6-seed Union finished the season at 9-6-3 overall and a conference record of 4-3-2.

 
SERIES HISTORY

  • In their regular season match-up on Oct. 11, the Garnet Chargers defeated RIT, 3-1, in Schenectady.
  • The Tigers hold an 8-4-2 record against Union and have won three of the last four games.
  • Tuesday's game marks the first meeting between the two teams in the postseason.
