RIT Athletics Preview: Jan. 13 – Jan. 19
WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
The Tigers remain undefeated in Liberty League action after picking up wins over William Smith and RPI over the weekend after falling at Rochester earlier in the week.
First-year guard Caroline Henderson averaged 13.3 points and 5.3 rebounds per game through the three games and shot 41.7 percent from three-point range, hitting 10-of-24 from beyond the arc while shooting 37.5 percent from the field.
The newcomer leads RIT in scoring this season, averaging 14.3 points per game.
RIT is home tomorrow (Jan. 14) against Ithaca before traveling to take on Skidmore and Vassar.

MEN'S BASKETBALL
RIT dropped a pair of road games at Hobart and RPI over the weekend.
Against Hobart, Chase Dickens scored 17 points after shooting an even 50 percent from the field to go along with two blocks and two steals.
Graduate student guard Matt Caggiano led the Tigers at RPI with 17 points and eight assists.
The team is home tomorrow (Jan. 14) before visiting Skidmore and Vassar this coming weekend.

MEN'S and WOMEN'S SWIMMING & DIVING
RIT hosted Hamilton and Ithaca in a tri-meet on Saturday. The men's team won against both Hamilton and Ithaca as the women's team defeated Ithaca while falling to Hamilton.
For the men, senior Drew Scheib won the 200 Yard Butterfly, tied teammate Edrick Nguyen in the 100 Yard Backstroke, and swam a leg for the winning team in the 200 Yard Medley Relay.
Senior Anna Penshenko led the women's team by winning the 100 Yard Breaststroke while also helping the 200 Yard Medley Relay team to a win.
The Tigers are back in action this coming Saturday when they host Rochester in a dual meet.

MEN'S HOCKEY
RIT lost to Canisus with a pair of 5-2 defeats over the weekend.
Sophomore forward Tyler Fukakusa scored once in Friday's game while adding an assist in both games.
The Tigers remain on the road this week with a two-game series at Roberts Morris.

WOMEN'S HOCKEY
The Tigers fell twice to nationally-ranked Penn State last week. After being shut in the first game, RIT kept things close in the second game before losing 3-2.
In the second game, first year forwards Brac Kelley and Kailey Favro each scored a goal for the Tigers.
RIT continues their road swing with two games at Robert Morris this weekend.

WRESTLING
The No. 24 RIT wrestling team went 1-3 at the 2025 NWCA National Duals. The Tigers lost 21-20 to Albion (MI) and 21-20 to Millikin, Friday. The Tigers defeated Adrian 24-16 before a 21-20 loss to Concordia-Moorehead, Saturday.
Senior Michael Glynn III won all four of his matches at 149lbs, including a pair of pins.
Junior Josh Harkless remained undefeated at 285lbs, winning three matches.
The team is set to compete in the SUNYAC Championships this Saturday at Cortland.
