RIT swimmers and divers qualify for NCAA Championships events

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – RIT junior swimmer Anna Peshenko and senior Drew Scheib will compete at the NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championships, March 20-23 in Greensboro, N.C.

Peshenko will compete in the NCAA's for the third-straight year. She qualified for the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:18.70.

Scheib will compete in the 200 butterfly for the second-straight year. He qualified with a Liberty League record time of 1:47.82 at last week's league championships.

NCAA Diving Regionals
Five divers will also be competing at the NCAA Diving Regional Championships, hosted by RIT on Friday and Saturday (Mar. 1-2). Junior Gellert Kish, who was named Diver of the Meet at last week's Liberty League Championships, senior Neko Ferrara and first-year Luke Albanese will represent the men, while first-years Gwen Petrie and Maddi Williams will compete on the women's side. All five will look to advance to the NCAA Championships in Greensboro, N.C.
