Men's Tennis wins 6-1 at Daemen
AMHERST, N.Y. - RIT senior Joel Pho clinched the deciding point in the Tigers 6-1 win at Daemen, Saturday.
DOUBLES:
- Sophomore Luke Weber and senior Grahith Movva defeated Lumanog/Alvarez 6-2 at first doubles, losing only two points on their serve.
- First-year Alexander Sinclair and junior Gabriel Escobar defeated Mergens/Garcia 6-4 at second doubles to secure the doubles point for the Tigers.
- Senior Christian Berko teamed up with first year Yu Tanimoto to pick up a 7-5 win over Chitanand/Williamson 7-5 at third doubles.
SINGLES:
- Pho defeated Lucas Garcia 6-4, 6-4 at third singles to secure the Tiger's win.
- Tanimoto was a 6-2, 6-0 winner over Humanog at first singles and Sinclair beat Mergens 7-6, 6-4 at fourth singles.
- Weber defeated Chitanand in three sets, winning the third 10-6, while first-year Tyler Mitrovic was a 6-0, 6-0 winner over Williamson at sixth singles.
