Women's Lacrosse loses 21-3 at No. 6 William Smith

GENEVA, N.Y. – RIT sophomore attack Serafina Kiselgof scored two goals in the Tigers 21-3 loss at No. 6 William Smith, Wednesday.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Junior midfielder Lily DePalma tied the game at 1-1 on her goal from senior Carrissa Hlywa with 11:55 remaining in the first quarter.
  • Kiselgof tallied her first goal of the game with 1:13 remaining in the opening quarter to cut the Heron's lead to 4-2.
  • William Smith scored the final eight goals of the first half to lead 12-2 at halftime.
  • Kiselgof scored with 11:51 to play in the third quarter to cut the deficit to 12-3.
  • William Smith scored five straight goals to end the third quarter leading 17-3 and outscored the Tigers 4-0 in the fourth quarter to make it a 21-3 final.

  • William Smith outshot RIT, 44-10
  • Sophomore goalie Ellie Ruddy made nine saves for the Tigers.
  • Hlywa finished with two assists.
