ROCHESTER, N.Y. – RIT first year forward Linda Rulle will play for Team Latvia at the 2024 IIHF Women's World Championship from March 31 through April 6 in Riga, Latvia.
An assistant captain, Rulle helped Team Latvia to a first-place finish at the 2023 IIHF Division 2A World Championships in Mexico City. Team Latvia moves up to compete in the 1B World Championships.
Rulle finished second on the team in scoring and third overall for the tournament with seven points on four goals and three assists last summer.
Rulle played in 34 games in her first season at RIT in 2023-2. She finished the season with seven points on a goal and six assists.
