Peshenko lands Liberty League weekly honor

ROCHESTER, N.Y. - Junior swimmer Anna Peshenko was named the Liberty League Women's Swimmer of the Week, announced Monday.

Peshenko lead the Tigers this past weekend winning three individual events. She won the 100 breast (1:09.30), the 200 breast (2:28.49) and the 200 IM (2:14.75). RIT participated in a quad meet against Hamilton, Wesleyan and Ithaca on Saturday. Head-to-head, the Tigers defeated all three teams.

Peshenko was previously named Liberty League Women's Swimmer of the Week on Nov. 20th.

RIT returns to action on Saturday (Jan. 20) against Rochester at 1:00 p.m.
