Kish and Scheib earn second set of All-American honors during day three of NCAA Championships
GREENSBORO, N.C. - Junior diver Gellert Kish and senior swimmer Drew Scheib earned their second All-American honors of the week as the Tigers completed the third day of competition at the 2024 NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championships, Friday.
Friday Recap:
- Junior diver Gellert Kish placed seventh in the men's 1-meter dive final with a score of 469.65, earning All-American honors
- Senior swimmer Drew Scheib finished 13th in the 200 butterfly final, clocking a time of 1:48.70 and earning All-American honorable mention
- First-year diver Luke Albanese earned 18th place in the men's 1-meter dive preliminary with a score of 425.20
- Junior swimmer Anna Peshenko placed 36th in the women's 100 breaststroke preliminary with a time of 1:05.74
Thursday Recap:
- First-year diver Maddi Williams placed ninth in the women's 1-meter dive final with a score of 426.05, earning All-American honorable mention
- Senior swimmer Drew Scheib set a Liberty League and program record in the men's 100 butterfly preliminary with a time of 47.89
- Scheib placed 14th in the 100 butterfly final, earning All-American honorable mention with a time of 48.39
Wednesday Recap:
- Junior diver Gellert Kish placed sixth in the men's 3-meter dive final with a score of 506.45, earning All-American honors
- First-year diver Luke Albanese earned 12th place in the men's 3-meter dive consolation final, scoring 480.20 points and earning All-American honorable mention
- Junior swimmer Anna Peshenko placed 42nd in the women's 200 individual medley with a time of 2:07.87
