ROCHESTER, N.Y. – RIT senior forward Cody Laskosky was named the Atlantic Hockey Player of the Month while first-year forward Matthew Wilde was voted Rookie of the Month, Tuesday.
- Laskosky totaled a conference-best 14 points on three goals and 11 assists in February as the Tigers clinched their second-straight Robert DeGregorio Trophy.
- Scoring a least a point in all eight games including multiple points in five, he tallied a goal and added two assists in the Tigers' 7-3 win over Air Force (Feb. 16) and also scored two points, including a third-period goal to help bring RIT back for a 7-6 OT win opposite Mercyhurst (Feb. 9).
- His 11 assists tied for the fourth-highest single month total in Atlantic Hockey since 2012-13.
- Laskosky finished the regular season second in Atlantic Hockey with 38 points and 1.12 points per game while also tying for second with 25 assists and third with 0.74 assists per game.
- Wilde scored a team-high six goals in February to go along with three assists as RIT clinched the top seed for the Atlantic Hockey Tournament.
- Riding a five-game goal-scoring streak into the postseason, he scored two goals in the 9-2 win over Canisius (Feb. 23) and tallied a goal and an assist the following night in a 3-2 road win against the Golden Griffins, tying the game in the final minute of the first period and assisting what proved to be the game-winning goal in the third.
- Wilde finished the regular season tied for fourth in the conference with 15 goals.
