Game Design Students, join us to learn more about the opportunity of a lifetime! Wildlife Studios, the largest game design studio in South America is looking for teams of creative designers who want to come and develop their own game idea in their Headquarters in Brazil.

Discover the remarkable story of Dr. Robert F. Panara—poet, educator, activist, and co-founder of NTID—through two powerful mini-exhibits highlighting his enduring contributions to Deaf culture, education, theatre, and literature. NTID students and faculty contributed to the selection of materials for the mini-exhibits. They worked with RIT University Archivist, Elizabeth Call, and NTID & Deaf Studies Archives Liaison Librarian, Dr. Joan Naturale, to bring the mini-exhibits to life. RIT/NTID’s Dyer Arts Center invites you to a closing reception for two exhibitions “A Fearless Trailblazer: Dr. Robert F. Panara” and “Background Noise: Reframing Perception” 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Friday, September 19, 2025, in the Dyer Arts Center in LBJ Hall on the RIT campus.

Join WE@RIT Director Kathy Ehrlich-Scheffer, Senior Director of the Academic Success Center Cha Ron Sattler-LeBlanc, and the WE Mentors for a workshop with a wholistic approach to engineering student success. We'll begin with decorate-your-own donuts, an overview of KGCOE-specific academic resources and tips for handling an engineering course load. We'll then workshop Executive Function, courtesy of Cha-Ron, followed by interactive stress relief stations with the WE Mentors.

Families with Deaf/Hard of Hearing children of all ages are welcome to join us at our fun Science-as-Play Family Day!  Lunch and water are provided.  Lunch options are sandwiches, pizza, Goldfish crackers & chips. This event is part of Rochester Deaf Awareness Week!
