ROCHESTER, N.Y. – RIT senior outfielder Bailey Kehl and junior pitcher Jessica Majot were named to the 2025 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Softball Team, Tuesday.
The Academic All-District program recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the diamond and in the classroom. To be considered, nominees had to have achieved at least a sophomore standing and a minimum 3.50 cumulative grade point average while playing a prominent role on the field of competition.
Starting 34 of 35 games she played, Kehl finished third on the team with a .345 batting average while tying for second in the Liberty League with 15 doubles and finishing in the top-25 with 21 RBI, 39 hits and 21 runs scored – all career highs. She also graduated earlier this month with a 3.55 GPA while majoring in international business.
Majot landed her second-straight all-district nod after finishing eighth in the Liberty League with a team-best 90.0 innings pitched. She also finishing sixth in the conference with 78 strikeouts to go along with a 3.97 earned run average and a 7-6 record while maintaining a perfect 4.00 GPA majoring in mechanical engineering.
