Maker Faire Rochester is back for its 13th year, bringing together a vibrant community of makers, creators, and innovators for a day of inspiration and hands-on fun! With over 100 makers showcasing their unique creations, from cutting-edge robotics and immersive video games to traditional folk arts and engaging STEM activities, there will be something for all interests. Maker Faire Rochester is free for all RIT students with their campus ID (thanks to the co-sponsorship of RIT).

All RIT staff, faculty, and students are welcome to join weekly open figure drawing sessions throughout the fall semester. Practice and refine your human drawing skills during sessions set for 11 a.m.-2 p.m. most Saturdays this semester in Booth Hall, 2480.

It seems like there’s a new fad diet trend or miracle trick that promises to “change our lives” every day. As much as we try, we cannot keep up with the trends. Plus, it is incredibly frustrating (and exhausting) to decipher fact from fiction. Join our monthly clinic to unpack the research so you don’t have to!

Join us in the Allen Chapel for Mass at 9:15 a.m. on Sundays. There will also be a "coffee hour" after mass in the Vestibule area outside of the chapel. 

Standard educational meeting on a particular religion, spirituality, culture, or way of life. Weekly meetings are usually lecture or discussion based but may include demonstrations or hands on activities. 

"Where do we go on Sunday at 5 p.m.?" We go to Mass.

We gather on Sunday evenings for worship at 6:30 p.m. in the Allen Chapel inside the Schmitt Interfaith Center. Normally, we have music, readings from Holy Scriptures, either an Episcopal Priest or Lutheran Pastor will give a very brief sermon, and finally gather at the altar for communion.

After our Sunday Worship service, we generally gather downstairs in the Skalny Room for a meal together. You can still join dinner if you missed worship, but please note that we need to prepare accordingly, so you are required to register for dinner. 

This hands-on activity will allow students to reflect on the benefits on gratitude and specific things in their own lives they may be grateful for. The hope is that students will walk away with the call to action to engage in a small practice of gratitude every day in order to impact their mental health positively.

(If you don't know what "True Biz" means - in ASL/Deaf culture, it means "real/serious talk, to have an honest conversation." These chats may be serious, fun, informative or tell us what's on your mind. We want YOU to feel connected to one another).

The Vignelli Center for Design Studies presents Ian Yang, founder and CEO of Gantri, for its Design Conversations Lecture Series. The event is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 17 in Wegmans Theater (MAGIC Spell Studios).
