Welcome to the Fall 2025 semester!

RIT students interested in medical school are invited to learn about the new Early Opportunity Program in Medicine (EOPIM), a pre-admission pathway to the University at Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. Accepted students gain professional interaction and career training at the medical school while completing their undergraduate degree at RIT. This session will share details about the program and application process.

Join us for an introduction to Google Notebook LM which is available for use by all RIT faculty, staff and students. We will review the technical features of this AI tool as well as share examples of how faculty may use Notebook LM to support instruction.

Learn more about the first Deaf professor at RIT/NTID, Dr. Robert F. Panara. There are several exhibits (Dyer Arts, RADSCC, and RIT Museum) showcasing his life and contributions. Discussion of InfoGuide resources and his biography, "Teaching from the Heart and Soul: the Robert F. Panara Story" by Dr. Harry Lang, retired NTID professor, will be covered. The e-Book, available with an unlimited license, is now available.
